Somewhere out there beneath the pale moonlight,
Someone’s thinking of me and loving me tonight.
that we’ll find one another in that big somewhere out there.
And even though I know how very far apart we are,
it helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star
And when the nightwind starts to sing a lonesome lullabye,
it helps to think we’re sleeping underneath the same big skyyyyyyyy!
Ooooooh! Somewhere out there,
if love can see us through,
Then we’ll be together, somewhere out there,
out where dreams come true…

Sorry about the rejection, all you can do is keep pushing forward. This song is adorable and I love the pictures MS animation accompanying it.
Awww Creepy's MS- I would like to give you a great big hug and a great big chocolate and do you drink adult stuff cos here's a nice glass of cabernet!
Be brave, be bold and be strong!
Take care
x
Aww, sending you virtual hugs Creepy's MS.
Love the song...I'm sure fairy God agent will hear it :)
Give yourself a little time to grieve :(( take a breath, tell yourself you're brilliant, and that there are hundreds of people out there waiting to read your work, and start again xxx
Keep chugging MS!!! Don't give up!
My MS is getting a lot of rejection right now as well. Sorry to hear about yours. Maybe my MS and your MS can be bff's?
Okay, that was really cute. Did you get any feedback along with the rejection?
Matt- No real feedback. I've yet to meet an agent who will throw me a bone unfortunately. Thanks for your comments guys!
Come on, Creepy's MS, you can do eet! No one can resist that much cuteness forever!
*holding lighter up in the air*
You sing it, little ms! Sing your sweet lil' heart out!!!
bru
((big, big hug)) from afar. Rejections suck AND blow. Freaks of nature...
You're an amazing writer. Keep plugging away! :o)
Total bummer. But it's awesome you had a full request. You are heading in the right direction. Right ms, right time, right agent! You're allowed to feel discouraged for a day or two and watch movies and read books! :)
Sorry to hear about the rejection. I know it's hard to remain positive but just keep plugging! You cannn dooo eettt! :)
Hugs to your manuscript! Rejection is definitely one of the worst parts of this business. But I love your Fairy God Agent :)
So adorable. You sing your little heart out MS! We'll keep cheering for you!
Sorry about the rejection. It's hard with no feedback. (But sometimes feedback is hard, too). Keep plugging though!

Big hugs to you and your ms! It sounds like she's a trooper with a good attitude and a song in her heart, though. :)
You make me smile. Keep going, MS!!
Awww, Creepy's Ms, I already see a film based on your life in the future!
Sorry about the rejection. :( Keep it up. You're fabulous! *Hugs!*
Aww! That song is so perfect. :) And I'm sorry about the rejection, but there IS someone out there, just waiting for your MS.
Don't give up! Love the pics and the song!
...loved this post:)
You've acquired a degree of patience many writers struggle to achieve. I'm a fan and wishing you best:)
Sorry to hear you got some bad news, but keep the faith. Something inspiring is lurking right around the next bend in the road!
Ohhhh poor Creepy's MS! I find a little bit of toner eases the pain. Or maybe some cyan or two?
Perhaps some semi-colons?
You'll find your way!
I'm sorry about the rejection, but boy, was that an adorable post :-)
Sorry about the rejection! That stinks stinks stinks! How far are you in the query process? I figure even if everything is PERFECT only 1 in 10 is going to be interested, and for some reason I am thinking you haven't sent a ton. Keep querying, but also keep polishing... you will get there one day.
Thanks Hart. I started querying UK agents last year (by snail mail) and american agents in December '10 by email. I've sent out at least fifty queries and have had about five requests for material. My ms has been critiqued and revised and edited and polished and repolished during the query process and I'll probably continue to try and make it better for as long as it takes to find an agent. I actually just gave it to a fellow blogger for further feedback so, yeah, it's a never ending process:)
So sorry to hear about your pass, but excellent ode to your MS!
You've got such a good sense of humor. BTW, you're MS has a good voice.
Oh my gosh we have the same Fairy God Agent!!!!! :)
I love the Julie Andrews fairy god-agent! A clever and funny way to deal with those icky old rejection blues.
But hey, your ms. has only actually been rejected five times? (And a 10% request rate is great!) You're just getting started!
I've posted some inspiration on my blog this week for anybody feeling down about rejection. Writers at all levels have to deal with it constantly. (Agents too.)
That doesn't relieve your pain one bit, I realize, but your misery has a lot of company.
Sorry to hear about that. I hope you save these posts in a special place so you can burn them when the "congrats we want you" letter arrives.
I want to give your MS a big hug and chocolate!!
e, right?
She likes chocolat
Sorry you received a rejection, but I loved your manuscript's post. :-)
Your MS is so cute..and such a lovely singing voice.
Hang in there. It'll happen when it happens. Until then, keep your fantastic sense of humor :)
The rejection is lame, but the post is adorable! I hope your fairy god agent finds your MS sooner rather than later!
Ditto what Stephanie Thornton said.
Ah! This was my favorite song from American Tail. How's the progress?
