Bloffee. Stat.

To anyone who isn’t familiar with Friday MorningFollower’s Bloffee- welcome!  Hope you’ve brought your appetite.  If not, we’ve got what you need to bring you back to your bright-eyed, bushy-tailed selves.

All you need to do to participate is: 1.  Comment.
2. Tell me what you’ve brought for morning bloffee.  (Today I’ve started out with some pumkin spice coffee sent fromt the U.S. by my mother dearest.)
3. Click on someone you don’t know in the comments section and check out their blog!  Voila- a new friend and potential follower connection has been made!

In the meantime- this week has been absolutely crazy in KatieLand.  Oldest daughter had an asthma attack last weekend and was home from school.  I had another teaching seminar to go to Tuesday along with my new work schedule. I’ve been preparing Halloween with my classes and today I’m doing workshops at my daughter’s school.  And it’s also my middle child Julie’s birthday today.  6 old years:)

The good news is, I finished and sent out my agent revisions this week! Can I get a collective ‘whew’!? *wipes brow*  I’m really happy with the final product and as I was reading through the manuscript one last time, it felt so much cleaner and more ‘living, breathing’ than it ever has before. Thanks so much to my beta readers and to everyone who's wished me luck! All that’s left to do now is wait and hope!

I’ve been trying to check out blogs during breaks on my phone but haven’t been able to comment. What have I missed in blogland this week? Any big posts I should know about?  Any noticed themes or trends?  What did you guys blog about?

Ah, first again, I see -- unless someone is hitting "publish" while I type. Congrats on finishing those revisions and sending them out. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I've brought STRONG coffee this morning. I'm gonna need it to face today's scheduled "intruder drill." Nothing's more fun than locking yourself in the classroom and huddling in a corner with your students!

This week, I participated in a tour for an e-book and today I blogged about the art of pantstering. (Come to the Dark Side, Luke!)

Congrats, Katie. I don't know anyone who hasn't received an offer after a R&R (and that's what I keep telling my friend who just sent hers to an agent too). I'm sure you won't break that perfect trend.

That's great about your revisions! I have a box of Hot Tamales. Breakfast of Champions. And this week I reflected on the year since my first book release.

So happy you finished the revisions, Katie. Sounds like you've had a busy week, too. This has been a crazy busy month for me as well.

I'm bringing the donuts! I haven't had sugar in a couple of months, so I'm dying for some. Have a great weekend.

First off, Happy Birthday Julie!

Now that I have that taken care of, I am bringing fruit filled crepes dusted with powdered sugar.

Congrats on your finished revision, I am sending positive energy to you and your manuscript :)

I posted a couple of recipes and commentaries in the past couple of weeks. I also signed up for NaNo as I have a WIP that I need to finish and I think this will give me the proverbial kick in the butt to get it finished.

Good luck!!!!

I brought potato pancakes with warm chunky home-made applesause because that's what I'm having on my blog today.

How come I didn't know you were in revisions with an agent? Yeah, I know stupid question, obviously I haven't been following. (Although on my end I have been kind of busy.)

Wish you all the best with that Katie. Go you.

Happy Birthday Julie! Hope the asthma has gone away from the eldest.

Me, I'm getting back into The Duke's Divorce.

Good morning one and all. This morning I'm making old fashioned buttermilk waffles with a hint of cinnamon and vanilla to bring to the bloffee.

Halloween is in full on trending mode as far as I can tell. Lots of good Halloween stories out there.

Congrats on finishing your rewrites! I think you'll go far! My daughter as slight asthma but when they struggle to breathe, it's pretty scary!

i'm bringing a 24-pack of mountain dew for the lil' one! my hubby is a respiratory therapist, and he and my oldest have terribly persistent asthma as well. poor man's trick- caffeine. helps open airways temporarily in a pinch. not a substitution for real meds, but helps amplify the effectiveness of them! so, keep a couple in the car and the fridge and maybe it'll help a bit. :)
there's been some good discussion about using people you know within your works. here's a couple posts...

Happy Birthday Julie and congrats, Katie!

I'm bringing crepes. And there is only one person here I don't know, so I'm off to remedy that.

Congrats on the rewrites. I'm sure good things are coming your way. I brought hot chocolate with whipped cream. Yeah, I'm going for calories.
Happy birthday to Julie.

Just Lucky Charms to bring this morning.

Congrats on getting that work off your plate Katie--must feel good.

Hmm, no trends on the blog world this week other than Halloween and fright stuff.

Congrats on finishing the R&R. I hope you don't have to wait long.

BTW, I've brought espresso and raw sugar--it's going to be a long day. When we run out of espresso, we can just eat the raw sugar.

I really love this segment. Did you miss anything? Well, I think this past week has brought the most agent/book deals to my attention since I started blogging a year and a half ago. Wow! So much good karma floating around. Quick, breath deeply. Maybe it's catchy!!!

I always bring Diet Coke. My hubby has offered to set it up in an IV for me, but he doesn't understand that would cut out the best part of the experience.

I'm kindof new in blogland and there are lots of people I don't know. Luckily, it's my fall break, no teaching, so I get to hang out in my pj's and bloghop.

PS love the argyle. And the pink. We might be friends already.

Did I miss when you got an agent, or is my memory being its usual sucky self? Whatever the case, HUGE congrats on both that and turning in a revision you're really happy with!

Other than that, you make me tired. SO much to do! So I brought fresh berries with whipped cream to share... whipped cream can either be eaten or used as body paint, because that's how I roll.

Best of luck with those revisions! Such an awesome feeling to send them off (I imagine). Crossing my fingers for you.

Congratulations on your awesome accomplishment!

I am on a diet and am eating like someone with anorexia. I have a pot of hot water for tea, but no crumpets.

I have been getting into the swing of fall, attending local food festivals and cleaning up my summer gardens. It is an ending of a season of my life and am now looking forward to what is ahead.

Hooray for revisions being done! Woo!

I have chocolate marble cheesecake slice. My Mum used to make it when I was small, and last night I had a craving so I emailed her for the recipe and baked some!

I have my International coffee... the lame mix, which for some reason I ADORE and CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT... Cafe Vienna, if anyone's interested (and I know you aren't). I'm about to have some warm oatmeal, too. Yum!
