National Crêpe Eating Day

It’s been awhile since I did a Friday Morning Follower’s Bloffee and since yesterday was national Crêpe-Eating day in France (Yes. They actually have a whole holiday devoted to the consumation of crêpes. They even give it a fancy name- the Chandeleur) I thought today would be a good day to start your usual blogging off with some good ol’ fashioned bloffee and crêpes. Banana-nutella is my personal favorite.

For any newbies- here’s the gist:

All you have to do to participate is 1.  Comment.
2. Tell me what you’ve brought for morning bloffee.  (Today I’ve started out with a pot of coffee and crêpes, of course.)
3. Click on someone you don’t know in the comments section and check out their blog!  Voila- a new friend and potential follower connection has been made!

I want to thank you all for your encouraging comments on Wednesday’s slightly dramatic, possibly hormone-induced post.  I have yet to ‘hit send’- I’m going through my manuscript one last time. (And let me just say, I’m SO glad I decided to do that. Hello typos. Where hast thou been hiding these last few months?)

Unfortunately I didn’t have a lot of time for visiting or commenting this week.  Tell me- what did you guys blog about this week?  Did I miss anything big?

Enjoy the spread and hot bloffee!  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I didn't have a lot of time for blog visiting this week, either, due to other obligations. I'm hoping to catch up this weekend and find out what's been going on!

The Chandeleur is a fantastic name! I love holidays that are dedicated to a delicious food. :)

Today I'm bringing hot chocolate (as always) and homemade waffles with your choice of toppings: I've got chocolate chips, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, and whipped cream!

Good luck with everything, Katie!

Ooo, I've missed the Bloffee. Thanks for hosting it again.

I'm bringing the bacon--thick and crisp. Though for my veggie friends I've brought a loaf of raisin walnut bread.

There's actually a day to celebrate crepes???? Sweet! I'm in. My husband makes crepes (or rather Scandinavian style pancakes, but they're kind of the same thing) for dinner every Sunday. I love them!

Right now I'm trying to wake-up so I brought Jasmine Green Tea and Honey.

This week I posted about Panty Fetishes and named the Hottie for Hot Men of Blogs and celebrated, my friend Norma Beishir's revised book, Chasing the Wind.

Is it too early for Hot Tamales?
It's been a wild week as always.
And no, I don't know where the typos hide but they always seem to come out right when you think you're finished.

I brought breakfast bars for everyone!! They're good for you, fiber and such, but they might give you gas. :)

I think you might have enjoyed my POSER post this week. Oh, and the Coffee Shop Girls made a return today. :)

Have a great weekend!!

Did you say crêpes? Oh my, conjuring thoughts of my grandmama again. (Wrote about her last.) She made the thinnest, most delicious crêpes. On Sunday morning's we'd fill them with her canned jam, and feast for what seemed like hours.

I'm going to add cupcakes to the buffet. Not that they'd top banana-Nutella filled crêpes, but I do bake a mean cupcake. ;)

Oh, and my milk frother, too! Got it for Christmas, and now I can't start the day without it. Bon appetit !

Good morning, all! I will join in the crepe celebration with some savory crepes: smoked salmon in a creamy dill sauce. Enjoy!

Granola bar for me.

Let's see... Unable to find direction (as usual), I discussed missing persons, the life of a runaway girl from the Michigan foster care system, milk stains on my ceiling, and diamonds.

Off to visit someone from your comments.

Have a good weekend CQG.

National Crepe eating day? Wow. Hmmm...

Today i've got Dunkin' Donuts chocolate glazed donut coffee...yes, coffee. :) And oatmeal with PB and no fat/no sugar chocolate pudding mix. No, not the whole package. Just a tsp. But what all that together makes is a healthy PB/chocolate/oatmeal dessert for breakfast. :)

I found someone I don't know. Yay! Oh, and I'm bringing mimosas, cause I need a drink.

I brought Diet Coke and cinnamon bears. They make me happy.

I visited 200 of the blogs linked with Alex's Insecure Writers Support Group on Wednesday and for some reason my eyes are tired. Hmm. I'm meeting all sorts of amazing people and now I'm off to find some more.

Have a great weekend - and try crepes with Nutella. You'll thank me.

Fascinating to read what everyone has decided to fuel themselves with on the Friday morning!

I had a banana. And I'm about to follow that up with an orange juice chaser.

Although I'd rather have a crepe!

You had me at crepe! I'll bring the nutella!!

I love crepes! And especially with nutella :-)
I am however not bring crepes because I can't make them - so I'm bringing store bought cinnamon rolls and Coke Zero because I ran out of creamer. Thank goodness it's Friday!
Have a great day.

I brought coffee (with Almond milk) and cereal (also with almond milk). Yum.

I love the idea of an entire day devoted to crepes. Now I'm going to go visit Matthew's blog, because he brought mimosas. Great idea, just saying.

I'll bring NYC croissants (the size of dinner plates, with extra butter...) and some strong black coffee. So glad you're ALMOST ready to hit that send button...now, to go check out someone new!

I am bringing Crepes Suzette. Watch out for the flame.

I wrote about nothing this week. As a matter of fact, I write about nothing every week.

Is it too late? I love the idea of a national crepe day!

Mmmm...let's see if I can rustle up crepes stuffed with seafood in a creamy sauce.

Good luck with the final edits. You're smart to follow your instincts (they ARE instincts, not fears!) and read through the MS one more time. You'll know, in your heart, when it's time to finally submit.

yummm....crêpes.....
