O- Out of Material

Lets be O-nest here.  Most of us woke up this morning and thought ‘O’….hmn.  I don’t know about you but the first thing that popped into my mind was ‘ORGASM!!’ (woohoo!).   But I shook my head.  ‘No no,  can’t write about that.  I do have some self control, after all.’

What about Origami?  Like ‘Orgasm’, it has and ‘O’, and ‘A’, and a ‘G’, right?  But I don’t really know much about origami besides the little birdie where you pull the tail and the wings move.

Then I just sat at my desk for awhile saying ‘Ooooooooooo.’
‘Oh Oh Oh’
‘Ooooo’
‘OOOOOOOOOOOOO’

Nothing.

Then I thought ‘hey!  I can’t decide!  Maybe there is a word for indecision that begins with ‘O’!!?  Katie, you are a genius!  I looked up indecision through the online thesaurus and scrolled down.

‘Oscillation!’  YES!   I knew it!  Except when you plug ‘Oscillation’ into the dictionary, indecision and uncertainty don’t come up.  Apparently it’s more of a mathematical term and doesn’t really mean anything useful.

So ‘oscillation’ sucks.  How about a word for ‘failure’?

Nope.

I am officially ‘O’ut of material here!  Guess it comes with the territory when you’re pantsing A-ZL  In any case, I’m looking forward to reading everyone’s (much more thought-out and enlightening) ‘O’ posts for today!

No but it's funny. Some days are def. easier than others when it comes to posting!

I use it mathematically, to describe a variance in both a positive and negative direction from a fixed point. Wow, did that sound nerdy.

Yeah,I don't think I would have used it. Maybe 'outtie' would have been a far better choice for me?

No 'O's huh?

And with Q, V, X, and Z coming up, this should get interesting :)

Aw, too bad. You could have gotten so much material out of Orgasm, LOL!

I had a moment like that 'N'. I seem to be having many of those moments lately!

You could have used omega or should that come at the end when we finally get to 'Z'

I had some trouble with 'O' as well, but then I ended up writing about 'oatmeal.' :)

LOL Now I know why I didn't participate.

No "o", doesn't matter cause the post is still funny... well, I actually had mine thought up a while ago. I'm worrying about when it gets up to X... boy, I'll probably end up writing about Xylophones.

LOL! Excellent post. The challenge is definitely becoming more of a challenge as the month goes on. Desperate for inspiration, I was doing google searches for words that begin with "O" yesterday.

Oh no! Ha, just kidding. That was pretty lame on my part.

Even without material this post got a laugh out of me. Maybe it was the orgasm bit.

I was right there with you...and then lightning hit. It fried my brain, but whatever.

Sometimes you just need a post like this--out of material or not, it was still extremely entertaining!

LOL, you didn't have trouble at all, this is a great O post! Can't wait to see what you come up with for the letter X... ;)

I had the same problem today. I did finally come up with something, but it was really tough.

Lol. Don't worry, I struggled with 'O' as well :)

'O' Katie,
Now, that's more like it! :)
I mean you have just about done a posting on that 'A to Z blogging Challenge' similar to my own alternative satirical postings on this whole darned thing.
I shall be glad when this is finally over and y'all get back to your regular routine.
And 'O' I guess that the next posting might just have something to do with 'P'....I shall leave it at that. Seriously Katie, have fun and take very good care.
Kind wishes from Gary over at his shy and unassuming blog :)

I went with OMG and then talked about text-speak. Please email me all of your Q (querying doesn't count), U, X, Y, and Z ideas. Thank you in advance.

Funny that I have yet to come up with something, it's 9:30 PM, and the only thing I have thought of all day? One night stand.
Apparently we think alike!

Eh, you should have just gone with orgasm LOL. Seriously though, this was hilarious enough to make it worthwhile. You did good, considering the lack of ideas. Nice job!

LOL! Funny post! Oh, and the one thing I learned this week is that I'm a panster, too, and not an outliner. :-)
