It’s been awhile since I hosted a Friday MorningFollower’s Bloffee. But with this week’s early morning shopping sprees- trying to get those Christmas gifts squared away while they’re still on the shelves- I definitely need to take a few minutes for a nice, hot, sit-down cup of bloffee.
All you need to do to participate is: 1. Comment.
2. Tell me what you’ve brought for morning bloffee.(Today I’ve started out with pancakes and syrup.)
3. Click on someone you don’t know on WEDNESDAY’s (so many awesome commenters in there that I haven’t gotten to get back to yet) comments section and check out their blog! Voila! a new friend and potential follower connection has been made!
How are you guys about Christmas shopping? Do you have it done by the end of November? Or do you find yourself going out the day before Christmas Eve in search of those last minute gifts?
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Yeah! Bloffee!
I see I'm first here again, so I'll come back later stalking crumbs and leftovers. I am bringing strong coffee this morning to face the day.
I enjoyed working on my blog this week! Monday I posted about getting into a car for a long road trip with a bunch of crazy strangers (ie: the characters in my new WIP) and today starts a 3-post series critiquing first pages of NaNo projects.
As for Christmas shopping -- I started working on my husband, but nobody else. All my shopping will be done over the internet if possible. (Save fuel and pollute less -- shop online!)
Okay, I brought some pumpkin muffins with chocolate chips. :)
And I'm partly done with shopping, getting there.
I'll bring some pumpkin bread with chocolate chips. Okay, too similar to Laura's. How about hot chocolate with whipped cream? Notice I can't leave chocolate out of it. I know the other 2 gals above so I will come back again.
Almost done with shopping. I have to organize (re-group) and finish.
I bring energy drinks (too early for Hot Tamales - that's more of a second breakfast treat) and I'm just about done with Christmas shopping!
I've brought a new attitude and some French vanilla coffee. Sounds about right. Tee-hee....hee.
Yay! I've missed the bloffee. I'm bringing French vanilla lattes.
As for Xmas shopping, ACK, I haven't even started yet. Plus, our family has five birthdays in December--could you just shoot me now?
Bloffee....love it! Let's see. I'm bringing cinnamon-sugar coated apples with large cups of homemade coco and, what the hey, Reese's peanut butter cups :)
Okay, so don't throw a hot spatula at me or anything, but I've kind-of already finished my Christmas shopping *Ducking and covering my head* ...but I haven't wrapped a thing and don't plan to until the last minute on Christmas Eve before I have to leave and get over to the parental's house. :) There, a little procrastination always makes me feel tons better!
Yay!! I got some mince pies for everyone!!!
I'm waiting for the 23rd of December to do my shop! LOL!
Take care
x
Since my husband owns his own drywall/paint contracting business, we have to wait for the money to come in before we can start shopping. I mean, we're good for smaller things, and no matter what we'll make sure our daughter has her presents (she already got her big one though). We're hoping for the big check next week. Keep your fingers crossed, otherwise my MacBook and iPad may come in January instead, and I'm just too damn excited to wait till then!
I'm drinking Mocha Nut Brownie coffee. Mmmmmm....
I've brought croissants this morning, as I feel in need of yummy French pastries :).
This year, I've been far more organised with my Christmas shopping, and I've got it sorted for all but one person. Some gifts are even wrapped up!
hi miss katie! for my breakfast i just ate a chocolate frosted krispy creme donut! yummmmm!!! did i get you jealous??? sorry. ok im bringing the rest to the bloffee before my brothers could know those donuts are in the house.ha ha. i did all my christmas stuff already. :)i hope you have a real nice and fun weekend.
...hugs from lenny
I only have OJ and left over birthday cake to offer this morning.
Fortunately, the Mrs. handles about all of the shopping so I just sit back and smile at the stress of others.
I brought a piece of leftover Pecan Pie with my coffee this morning. YUM YUM!
Christmas kind of snuck on us this year because my wife was gone just before Thanksgiving and then the entire family traveled down to Louisiana for the holiday. The decorations are coming along fine now, but I'm afraid the shopping is still lagging. Oh well.
Have a great weekend!
I'm bringing powerful hot chai - this writer's friend!
My shopping for the USA box is almost done and it's almost ready to ship. Whew! Then for the french side of things ;)
Now to find a new friend...
Am I too late?
I'll bring tea and toast (which is what I had for breakfast this morning).
I'm getting in the Christmas spirit by posting Christmas songs, facts and cracker jokes each day on my blog and I've also written a short story for the Xmas Short Story Exchange that I'm hosting (feel free to join in. Please. I don't want to be the only one :-P )
I've already done most of my Christmas shopping. I buy throughout the year and put gifts away so I don't have to struggle with it all at once (I don't drive so lugging it all on the bus is a pain).
Ooh Bloffee. I could actually use a jolt this morning. I've brought Pomegranate Green Tea and Pumpkin Bread to the table today =)
I've brought corned beef and raw onion sandwiches, probably a niche market for these.
I just had a PB&J for lunch. I'll share my chips!
I'm about 1/3 done shopping. I need to get on it!!
I need protein in the morning but usually I'm not organized enough to eat anything but cheap carbs. As for shopping -- I try to be done a few days before Christmas, and sometimes I succeed.
A mocha and cranberry scones! Mmm! Can't wait for the Deja Vu blogfest. I already mentioned it on my blog!
Somehow, I'm always missing these. Hmmm. I'm chucking you into my blog sidebar right now. :) As far as Christmas shopping goes, I always think I'm done, and then I remember someone. Like the Teachers!
I utterly suck at Christmas shopping. I dread it. Luckily my wife is a shopping dynamo and worth her weight in gold at this time of year.
