FMFB- WriteOnCon

Good morning Friday bloggers and welcome to our weekly Bloffee Get-Together, where we make new friends, discuss this week’s blogosphere news and make each other hungry:)

All you have to do to participate is 1. Comment  2. Tell us what you’ve brought for breakfast. (This morning I’m serving up pancakes and sausage with loads of syrup.) 3. Find someone in the comments section you don’t recognize and check out their blog. Voila! A potential friend and follower connection has been made!

This week a lot of fellow bloggers and writers are getting ready for this year’s WriteOnCon. – A free online writer’s conference. It’s a great alternative those of us that can’t make it to the biggest annual conferences around the globe and features fantastic agents, editors and authors.  The open forums have already forced me to get my butt in gear and write a query letter for my current wip, not to mention renew my writerly motivation to finish this damn draft. I was feeling a definite lack of inspiration these last few weeks but those of you who posted on Wednesday’s post helped me overcome the hump! Don’t know what I’d do without you guys!

What are you guys currently working on? Anybody else joining WriteOnCon?

Bringing the energy drinks as usual. Maybe bagels as well.
Not participating in WriteOnCon, but I am busy editing my next book.

I've got coffee. I'm not in the forums this year. My mom, aunt & uncle will be visiting then so I'm just going to sneak in and see what I can. It's such an awesome conference. Hope you all get good feedback and requests from an agent.

I've got hot tea and Cheerios this morning. And I've been doing Camp NaNo Wri Mo. I'm like half way through a draft for another book. I do believe I'll do this again even though sometimes I get a little tongue-tied at what to write. Last night was one of those nights.

As for the conference, I'll be missing it again this year b/c of the above.

hugs,

It's rainy and muggy here, so I'm bringing iced coffee and a fruit salad.

I've not actually been familiar with WriteOnCon before now! I'll definitely look into it now :-)

I'm bringing warm blueberry muffins my mom made (much better than mine, trust me!). And I won't be joining writeoncon either as I'm in the midst of revising my latest.

I'm bringing chocolate just because I like it. I went to a cafe to write today and the barista made a mean crack about the fact that I ordered chocolate for breakfast. But I like to think that that chocolate helped me write, which it did; I got some good pages out of it.
I'm not participating in WriteOnCon, but I like the idea of it, especially since it gives a lot of writers the opportunity to connect with each other.

I think I'm bringing hot chocolate, because I'm already too hyped up for coffee and it's REALLY cold for summer over here. :)
I don't know if I can do WriteOnCon this year - partially because I have a lot of writing I need to do, partially because I don't write YA and though there are parts of the conference that apply to all writers, I always feel a little bit left out. But it is such a fantastic idea! :)

I have brought some waffles, cause well people like waffles.

This will be my first WriteOnCon, I'm excited for it.

I am actually working on two things a follow up to my first novel and something new.
