Z - Zed

Or the French letter ‘Z’- which I won’t have to explain to another student again for (at least) the next five months because I am DONE!  My contract is up -Today is my last day of work.  I’m officially on vacation/ unemployed/ a full time writer! J

And the A-Z is officially at an end! It was a great month, you guys. The blog and I are definitely making googley eyes at each other again after all this time together.

Back to my regular Mon/Wed/Fri schedule this week!

How did you guys do on the A-Z?  Was there a letter that had you scratching your head more than others? (For me, it was my lame 'L' post)  But to be honest, pretty much all of my posts were on the wrong side of random this month. Oh well. T'is the risks and hazards of the A-Z.

Congrats on finishing! I can't believe how fast it went by! April flew and I feel like the challenge just started!

I found K difficult. Glad I did A to Z(first time), but if I go again next year, definitely going to sign up early and plan in advance!

(yay for being a full-time writer!)

I didn't find posting difficult but I was away for lots of April so I'm going to start going around checking people's complete effort! I did it by sticking my fat finger in the dictionary for every post - I got some weird weird words - like my last one zoomorphism, or like Oregon myrtle (a tree) - but I never cheated and I'm very happy with my 26 new bits of writing. I'm in the query process once again so I'll be back to see how you're doing with it. Took my ages to write my one page query - thought it might be the end of me! Glad you're getting a chance to do this full-time.

Woohoo! Full time is awesome and if anyone can do it, it's you! The posts were challenging but meeting everyone was the best part. :)

Congratulations and I wish you all the best for the future!

A-Z was fun, but next time I'll ensure I am not organising a book launch at the same time! Zzz!

Congrats on being a full-time writer! *jealous face* ;-)

I've never had the stamina to do the A-Z challenge, so congrats for that, too!

Fabulous way to end! I didn't participate and kind of feel sad because I didn't. I just knew the dedication involved would kill me! I would have been right too! I can barely make it three days a week!

Congrats on finishing--both challenges CQG. I hope you find some sunny spots to write then.

Congrats on finishing! A to Z was tough this year for me, many of my posts felt awkward.

Because of my theme (my characters), I was able to get a subject for each letter. A couple of my planned spotlights changed, but since I have so many characters, it wasn't that hard to change. I'm a bigtime, longtime name nerd, so I have characters for every letter of the alphabet, and even have multiple Q and X characters. And since many of my characters aren't American, I also have a plethora of K characters.

Kudos for making it all the way through. I missed following a big piece of the challenge while I was off-blog but it was fun catching up at the end.

I had a few here and there that gave me a bit of a problem, but at this point I don't even remember which ones.

For some reason I found R quite hard.

For several letters, I came up with new names like Javen, Orin, and Quaylin.

Congrats on complete A-Z and have fun with being a full-time writer!

I'm happy that I did the challenge this year...one because it was fun and made me get creative every day...two because I found great blogs like yours. It's been a lot of fun keeping up with you every day. Best wishes with the full time writing career. You're awesome and I believe that you are going to go far!

If you're anything like me, you'll love having all that free time to write, write, write!! Good luck to ya!

I got hung up on X during the challenge, but still pulled it off.

Will you be writing in Paris? Taking a sabbatical, or traveling?

Have a good time, and best of luck with your writing and with getting a new schedule!

Enjoyed your series, and thanks for taking the extra time to be a co-host!

I am upset with myself that I took a hiatus and came back in the middle of the Challenge and didn't know what was going on. I guess I will attack it next time. Woo-hoo full time writer.
